Our Superior Drying Process
Many washed regrind manufacturers believe that a centrifugal dryer is good enough. We respectfully disagree.
A centrifuge dryer leaves a residual moisture content of approximately five percent. At PRS, we do not believe it is fair for our customers to pay for five percent water content. That’s why we use a 2,000,000 Btu furnace to heat our flake until it’s completely dry. When you buy our regrind, you can be confident that you’re paying only for quality flake — never for unwanted water.
